Corporate Policy

Our principles for quality, responsibility and safety

The corporate policy of GEBHARDT Automation GmbH describes what we stand for – towards our customers, our employees and our environment.

GEBHARDT Automation GmbH sees itself as a modern and innovative provider of highly available automation and safety systems with scalable redundancy up to SIL3 (Safety Integrity Level). Project engineering includes the corresponding software application and user training. This long-standing experience in realising complex automation systems is reflected in more than 800 installations worldwide, mainly in the fields of steam turbines, compressors and expanders.

Customer focus and quality

Customer satisfaction is our highest goal. We want to be a competent and reliable business partner who also helps quickly and without complication. Our customers should receive the highest quality (certified to ISO 9001) at fair prices. This quality is safeguarded by a management system and further increased through a process of continuous improvement – we aim for zero-defect production.

When realising safety systems, alongside customer satisfaction there is always also the requirement to take into account the current state of the art in technology and science.

We see ourselves as a customer-oriented company. This includes cultivating long-term customer relationships. Through open, personal contact with our customers and a high level of performance, we can quickly identify and satisfy their needs – particularly regarding product quality, pricing, on-time delivery and flexibility.

Responsibility for the environment and resources

To maintain the highest level of product quality, flexibility and readiness to deliver, management continuously monitors the production process and order processing and adapts them to the appropriate state of the art. Responsible use of resources is a matter of course for us – this is precisely why we decided early on to pursue certification to DIN EN ISO 14001.

Employees and human rights

We place great value on securing and improving the professional competence and performance of our employees. That is why we are also certified to DIN EN ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. To this end, we rely on a good working atmosphere, performance-based pay and the development of our employees' skills. In doing so, we aim above all to promote satisfaction, quality awareness, ideas for improvement and commitment among the workforce.

All employees are made aware of the principles regarding respect for human rights. Neither forced labour nor child labour is tolerated.

Responsible supply chain

In order to offer our customers the quality they may rightly expect from us, we must be able to rely on our suppliers. It is therefore important to us to work with them in partnership.

We ensure that our suppliers adhere to a sustainability policy covering human rights, forced labour, child labour, working conditions, wages, benefits, non-discrimination, freedom of assembly, collective bargaining, anti-corruption, bribery, health, safety and the environment.

Data protection and information security

The data of GEBHARDT Automation GmbH and our customers are among our most important assets. For this reason, measures to improve data protection and IT security are continuously implemented. An information security management system is being established; an external security officer monitors the system.

Implementation

To implement this policy, a management system is developed and put in place, as described in the management manual, and which is fully supported by company management. The corporate policy is published within the company via a notice; our quality management representative (QMB) is available for any questions.
