The GA SR-01-42-24-00 is available as fault tolerant output relay for safety related signals. Each of its 4 field contacts internally uses 2 contact switches in fault tolerant 1-out-of-2 configuration, controlled by two independent relays of different manufacturers.

Additional diagnostic contacts allow read-back of the forcibly guided field contacts, for continuous monitoring. Each field contact is protected against overcurrent by a front-accessible fuse.

The safety relay is designed for safe shut-down up to SIL3 according to IEC 61508.
