This connection module is intended for redundant GA DUPLEX-S type systems and can be used for safety-related applications up to SIL3 (IEC 61508) and PL e (EN ISO 13849). It comprises four forcibly-guided safety relays per output channel, which are interconnected in a 1oo2D hardwired logic. A total of 8 output channels can be used for each DFAB module. Each NC contact of a safety relay is read back and monitored continuously.
