MCADA-S

The MCADA-S is a card with 8 analog channels each for inputs and outputs, certified for safety functions up to SIL3. The inputs capture current signals in the 0…25 mA range with 14-bit accuracy and diagnose wire break, short circuit and transmitter range errors. The eight current outputs offer 16-bit resolution. The redundant internal design with two mutually monitoring signal processors enables card-internal fault tolerance.
