OPC (OLE for Process Control) forms the technological basis for a comfortable and efficient exchange of process data between Windows-based applications, control and automation hardware, and field devices. Data exchange can be performed between GA BlueLine systems and standard Windows applications such as WinCC, InTouch etc. based on the GEBHARDT Automation OPC server. Presently the OPC specifications “OPC Data Access” and “OPC Alarms and Events” are supported. Further features are planned in future.
