MCDIN-S is a digital input card for 24 signals. It is based on two redundantly operating signal processors that monitor each other. Input signals are read as analogue signals, in accordance with NAMUR specification, and monitored for cable damage and short-circuiting. Internal diagnostics, program execution control and signal diagnostics ensure an extremely high level of error detection.
