MCAD-S mod. 1 is an analogue input card for 24 current signals (0 ... 25 mA) or 22 current signals plus a redundant frequency signal. It is based on two redundantly operating signal processors that monitor each other. Signal diagnostics allow error detection for cable damage, below measurement range, above measurement range, and short-circuiting. Internal diagnostics, program execution control and signal diagnostics ensure an extremely high level of error detection.
