GA BlueLine systems

BlueLine systems are the basis for integrated SIL3 automation. Safety-related, redundant communication between BlueLine systems allows efficient distribution of complex applications between multiple systems and the integration of multiple systems into a distributed redundant system, with up to QMR (Quadruple Modular Redundancy) architecture.

The flexible programming language (in graphic mode) handles everything, from relatively simple emergency shut-down (ESD) up to complex closed-loop control. SIL3 safety is available for all control functions, not restricted to shut-down only.

Beginning from the entry-level - DualCore-S - all systems offer SIL3 safety integrity and fault tolerance. Other systems - DUPLEX, TMR and QMR - increase fault tolerance and thus system availability at hardware failures.

In addition to regular automation, modern plants require an increasing amount of certified safety functions. BlueLine systems allow the interference-free combination of safety-related and regular components, for efficient handling of all requirements.
